All About Mr. Dolan!

Hi, 4th Grade! 

My name is Ted Dolan, and I am SO EXCITED to be your teacher this year! 
I received my bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's University, which is also where I'll be completing my masters in education this upcoming December. I worked in the STC Child Care from 2017-2020, doing the summer camp and helping in the preschool classrooms whenever I could. It's what inspired me to become a teacher! I've been teaching for two years, my first being in 5th grade, and last year teaching 4th. I hope you are all as excited as I am to get started! 

Whenever I'm not working, I love being on the water (in any form!), riding my longboard, kickboxing, exploring new cities, or binge watching any of my favorite shows/movies. Some of my favorite things to watch are Marvel movies, Stranger Things, and any funny reality TV. You'll have to tell me all of your favorite things to watch! 

I'm also a huge fan of music! Just this past summer, I was lucky enough to see Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. We'll be incorprating music into our learning as much as we can. Get ready for lots of good tunes!

I spent most of this past summer in Santa Cruz, California exploring the beaches and having fun on the water! Some of my favorite things that I did were whale watching, sailing, hiking to see the redwood trees, biking, and eating lot's of good food. I know I'll be talking a lot about my trip, but I also can't wait to hear about all of the incredible things that you have done over your break.
