Kindergarten!
Monday, November 29th- Friday, December 3rd...Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend!
The weather is now COLD. Please send in appropriate outdoor clothing with your child. Depending on the severity of the weather, we will start to stay in for morning recess. Please check out our Amazon wishlist for things to go into our individual recess buckets. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
Please return the homework book every Monday. I will send them back home with the new weeks work. If anyone is having difficulty with the work, please let me know.
HOMEWORK... Practicing writing numbers 3-8 properly
Reading booklets...The reading booklets that come home are optional homework. They are a great practice and review of the letters we covered and the sight words that we have seen. If they bring them back with the five whistles on the back colored in, they will recieve a punch on their punch card. When the punchcard is full they can pick a prize coupon!
Word rings... These are the words that we have already been working on. Your child will be tested on them each week (either Tuesdays or Wednesdays) and they will get a sticker by the ones they know. When they have mastered each page (color) they will recieve the coordinating color sticker gumball in their paper gumball machine. There will be a big celebration at the end of the year when we see how many gumballs we can get! Red, Orange, Yellow, and GREEN should be accomplished.

Our Classroom:Thank you for all the supplies and donations already this year! There is always a need in Kindergarten for extras- whether it be for the classroom, or for a project. We are putting together individual indoor recess buckets for when they are unable to go outside, keeping germ sharing to a minimum. I will be adding things so they can keep busy during that time. If you think of something that is not on the list and are willing to share the idea and/or donate please do not hesitate!
